Panorama Mountain Tour
This tour takes visitors up the slopes of the Drakensberg escarpment and offers amazing panoramic views of the largest green canyon in the world- The Blyde River Canyon. The route covered is usually: Pilgrim’s Rest (an old gold mining village offers a trip back to yester year try your hand at gold panning or dress up in vintage clothing and have your picture taken), Graskop (A forestry town), God’s window (imagine the view), Bourke’s Luck potholes (very interesting geological feature), Three Rondawels (mountain peaks forming part of the canyon), various waterfalls and other Panorama route attractions. Time is allowed to shop for curious at excellent shops and local craft vendors along the way. This is one of the most scenic routes in the region, a must see for any visitor.
